LIMITED NATIONWIDE SERVICE WARRANTY

Parts and services purchased at Firestone Complete Auto Care are covered by a limited warranty of twelve (12) months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, unless otherwise described below. Some exclusions may apply; please see details below. This limited warranty contains an Arbitration provision.  

This limited warranty does not apply to (1) vehicle parts and accessories purchased through the Firestone Off-Road Shop program (but excluding installation labor which is covered by this limited warranty); (2) tires; (3) wheels; (4) batteries; or (5) damage caused by abuse or accident. 

Eligible parts which prove to be unserviceable during the limited warranty period will be replaced free of any additional charge for parts or labor, except as noted under “Other Exclusions” below.

All lifetime limited warranties are only valid for as long as the original lifetime service purchaser owns the vehicle. This limited warranty does not cover vehicles used for commercial or racing purposes. 
(1) Costs of additional brake system components, including master cylinders, rotors, drums and all additional labor, are warrantied for a period of twelve (12) months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
(2) If parts are required to restore vehicle to manufacturer’s alignment specifications, then those parts and the labor required to install them are not covered. Subject to in-store equipment availability and employee qualifications to align vehicle. Lifetime Alignment is only warrantied so long as the vehicle’s suspension and/or body height has not been modified or damaged to be outside of OEM specifications. 
(3) Lifetime balance is only warrantied so long as originally balanced tires remains on wheel. If needed, additional charge may apply for resetting the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
(4) If vehicle does not have a working odometer either (a) at the time of the initial purchase/service, or (b) at the time of presentation for warranty claim, that vehicle is ineligible for coverage under this limited warranty. 
(5) Limited warranty excludes air shocks and air springs. 
(6) Limited warranty excludes parts and accessories that are intended to modify vehicle height. 
OTHER EXCLUSIONS: This limited warranty excludes all electronic components of any part(s). Replacement of anti-freeze or clamps is not included in the limited warranty on belts/radiator hoses. Cost of refrigerant and recharging of the air conditioning system is not included with the limited warranty on air conditioner parts or air conditioner compressors. Cost of additional brake system components, including rotors and drums and/or labor to restore Brake System to its safe proper operation is not included with the limited warranty on Brake Shoes, Disc Pads, Calipers and/or Wheel Cylinders and all other hardware.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE BY THE WARRANTIES LISTED IN THIS DOCUMENT? This limited warranty covers only the original purchaser of the eligible parts and/or services.
WHERE WILL THE WARRANTIES BE HONORED? Take your vehicle to the Firestone Complete Auto Care Store which sold the eligible parts and/or services, or any other Firestone Complete Auto Care Store in the United States (subject to availability, qualifications, and equipment) owned by Bridgestone Retail Operations, LLC. HOW CAN A CLAIM BE MADE UNDER THE LIMITED WARRANTIES? The original invoice from the store at which the eligible part was purchased or service was performed must be presented in order to get the benefit of the limited warranty.
WHAT OTHER CONDITIONS APPLY? The obligations undertaken in these limited warranties are offered only on the purchased items and services and may not be enlarged or altered by anyone. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRIDGETONE RETAIL OPERATIONS, LLC, AND ITS FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE STORES DISCLAIM (1) LIABILTY FOR INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, loss of time, loss of vehicle use, or inconvenience; AND (2) all other warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or waiver of implied warranties, so the above exclusion(s) or waiver(s) may not apply to you.
CONSUMER RIGHTS: This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

ARBITRATION: For purposes of this arbitration section: (a) the terms “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Bridgestone Retail Operations, LLC, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, predecessors, successors, assigns, employees, officers, agents and directors; and (b) a “Claim” is any pre-existing, present, or future claim, dispute, or controversy between you and us arising out of or in connection with this limited warranty, or any other warranties, express or implied, including a failure of warranty and the validity of this arbitration clause, but excluding claims for personal injury or damage to property. You and we acknowledge that either you or we can choose to have any Claim resolved by binding arbitration. If either you or we choose arbitration with respect to any Claim, neither you nor we will have, and each of us waives, the right to litigate that claim in court or to have a jury trial on that claim, or to engage in pre-arbitration discovery, except as provided for in the arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). In addition, you will not have the right to participate as a representative or member of any class of claimants related to any claim subject to arbitration. An arbitration can only decide our or your Claim and may not consolidate or join the claims of other persons who may have similar claims. There shall be no authority for any Claims to be arbitrated on a class action basis. The arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding. 

Any arbitration will be conducted in accordance with the AAA’s rules applicable to consumer disputes. For additional information go to: http://www.adr.org/. Any arbitration hearing that you attend will take place in the federal judicial district where you reside. At your request, we will advance the first $250 of the filing and hearing fees for any Claim you may file against us; the arbitrator will decide whether we or you will ultimately pay those fees. This arbitration agreement is made pursuant to a transaction involving interstate commerce and shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. Sections 1-16. The arbitrator shall apply applicable substantive law consistent with the Federal Arbitration Act and applicable statutes of limitations and shall honor claims of privilege recognized at law. Judgment upon the award may be entered in any court of law of competent jurisdiction. If this arbitration section (or any part of it) is determined invalid or illegal under any applicable statute or rule of law, it will be deemed omitted without affecting any other provisions of this limited warranty, which shall remain in full force and effect.

We promise that the services we perform will be fixed right the first time. If the automotive repair or service was performed improperly, then we will re-perform the service at no additional charge to you, during the established warranty period.

Priced Right

The Priced Right promise gives you complete confidence that Firestone Complete Auto Care will match any current, locally advertised price on tires. If you find a better price within 30 days of purchase, we’ll refund you 200% of the price difference.*

Right On Time

We value your time, if your vehicle is not ready at the time we promised, we will offer a 10% discount on your next purchase (discount cannot exceed $25.00).**

NOTICE: A buyer of this product in California has the right to have this product serviced or repaired during the warranty period.  The warranty period will be extended for the number of whole days that the product has been out of the buyer’s hands for warranty repairs.  If a defect exists within the warranty period, the warranty will not expire until the defect has been fixed.  The warranty period will also be extended if the warranty repairs have not been performed due to delays caused by circumstances beyond the control of the buyer, or if the warranty repairs do not remedy the defect and the buyer notifies the manufacturer or seller of the failure of the repairs within 60 days after they were completed.  If after a reasonable number of attempts, the defect has not been fixed, the buyer may return this product for a replacement or a refund subject, in either case, to deduction of a reasonable charge for usage.  This time extension does not affect the protections or remedies the buyer has under other laws.

*This guarantee extends to the Customer, within thirty (30) days after the date of purchase, a refund of 200% of the difference between a competitor’s current, delivered non-sale price and the price of the same tire purchased from a Bridgestone company-owned store. Customer must provide a current, local advertisement. This guarantee excludes wholesale, clearances, closeouts, catalogs and rebate prices. Excludes our Buy 3, Get 1 Free offer when compared to a competitor's individual tire price. Can be compared to competitor's Buy 3, Get 1 offer. The retailer must be an authorized reseller of the product and selling it through their own, non-auction channel. This refund is not to be combined with any other offer or used to reduce outstanding debt.

**Valid at any company-owned store. Subsequent second visit must occur within one year of the original service. This discount cannot be used to reduce outstanding debt.
